Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal information MarkTillson collects through this website, why we collect it and the choices you have.

Last updated: November 6, 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by MarkTillson LLC (“MarkTillson”, “we”, “us”). For the purposes of data-protection law, we are the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

MarkTillson LLC is a Texas limited liability company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. For any privacy matter, contact us at privacy@marktillson.com or call 817-968-0523.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use a form on this site to speak with an expert, request an assessment, explore a partnership, send a general inquiry or register interest in a career, we receive the details you enter. These are typically your name, email address, organization, role and message, together with any optional details you choose to provide, such as your sector, scope notes, LinkedIn profile or CV.

Information sent automatically with a form. Each submission also records the page it was sent from and the time taken to complete the form. We use this only to filter automated spam.

Server logs. Our hosting provider’s servers record technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.

What we do not collect. The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, no social-media pixels and no third-party scripts. Links to our social-media profiles are plain links; those platforms apply their own privacy policies once you visit them. Our interactive demonstrations run entirely in your browser on synthetic data and send nothing to us.

How forms are processed

Form submissions are not stored in a database on this website. Our server validates each submission and sends it by email to the relevant MarkTillson mailbox. To prevent abuse, the server keeps a short-lived count of submissions per IP address, stored only as a one-way hash and discarded after about ten minutes.

Please do not send credentials, payment card data, health information, other people’s personal data or details of unpatched vulnerabilities through our forms. We will arrange a secure channel for sensitive material.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers who help us operate this website and our email, such as our hosting and email providers, under contracts that require them to protect it. We also disclose it where the law requires us to.

International transfers

Where personal information is transferred outside the country in which it was collected, we rely on the safeguards that applicable law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any relationship that follows, and then delete them in line with our retention schedule. We keep careers submissions only for as long as we need them to consider you for suitable roles, or longer if you agree.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. Residents of Texas, California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, can exercise the rights those laws provide. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@marktillson.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with security headers, and its forms are protected against automated abuse. No transmission over the internet is entirely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through web forms.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if the way the site handles personal information changes. If we ever introduce analytics, we will also update our Cookie Notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
